terraPen plots up to 594mm x 420mm, providing a huge volume in a compact form factor. The terraPen boasts a large flatbed made from recycled plastic. Despite its massive plot area, the machine measures only 800mm x 600mm with a minimalist design.
Pen lift is driven by a linear solenoid, offering accurate positioning at high speed. The terraPen A2 spends more time drawing with the pen compared to lifting and dropping. It has a high longevity with cycle times of over 400,000 actions.
Driven by our custom controller with 32bit processor and open-source firmware, connect to the terraPen via Wi-Fi on your preferred device. Control, set up the machine, upload, run and monitor jobs through the web interface. The terraPen A2 accepts wired communication in addition to Wi-Fi, and can be sent Gode files generated in a range of paid and open-source software.
Adapt the terraPen to your needs - The removeable tool head can be replaced with your own, specific to your job requirements. User modifications and serviceability are designed into the terraPen platform. Accessible and common tooling unlocks creativity. A range of available outputs on the control board opens up a host of potential add-ons.

The terraPen A2 utilizes a coreXY belt configuration, affording high speed yet accurate workflow across the entire workpiece providing stable movements and long working life.
